Pablo Picasso Inspired:
Centaure et Bacchante, sometimes called Centaure enlevant une nymphe, is a sculptural group located in Caen, in the Calvados department, in France. Created in bronze by Arthur Le Duc for the 1879 Salon, it was installed in 1880 in the courtyard of the Museum of Fine Arts of Caen (formerly the Eudist seminary of Caen). Mutilated by the 1944 bombings, it was temporarily put into storage before being installed in its current location in the gardens of the Caen Memorial in 1990.
