Henri Focillon, a renowned specialist in art history. At only 20 years old, Jean chose the path of painting, imitated the great canvases of the Louvre Museum, and showed a marked interest in the field of theater. During the 1937 International Exhibition in Paris, he designed a fresco with his friend Jean Le Moal, also created a stained glass window, the first of a long series, and completely redesigned the lines of sets and costumes for the plays staged by Maurice Jacquemont. Jean Bazaine's works have been presented in numerous exhibitions across Europe since 1946, including in Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Stockholm.
